Upcoming Events: Where to find us in April and May

AWS

We'll be exhibiting at the AWS Enterprise Summit on the 29th April at the ExCel, London. The Enterprise Summit is designed for senior tech leaders within enterprise organisations. The day will be filled with speakers talking about their experiences using AWS technology from the testing stage to running entire environments using cloud services.

The following day we'll be sticking around at the ExCeL for the AWS Summit 2014. This is a much more hands-on, tech-heavy day than the Enterprise Summit, giving visitors the opportunity to take part in practical labs and Q&A sessions with industry experts. On both days we'll be on hand as an AWS partner to chat about how we can support you through the design, build and management of your AWS cloud environment.

Infosec

Also on the 30th April, our Solutions Architect Mark Thomas will be presenting at Infosecurity Europe at Earls Court. Alongside Richard Pharro, CEO of APM Group, Mark will be asking the question "Is your cloud service provider certified? Keeping your data safe in the cloud" in the Business Strategy Theatre at 16:40. Learn about the issues of data security in the cloud and how to keep data secure with guidance from the Cloud Industry Forum about what a good Cloud Service Provider (CSP) looks like.

CRN Channel Roadshows

May sees the start of our UK roadshows. We'll be hosting 2 channel roadshows in partnership with CRN magazine – one on the 13th May in London and the second on the 21st in Birmingham. These half-day events will include an overview of UK disaster recovery market trends, case study examples and panel discussions. For more details on the agenda and how to register, click here.

Disaster Recovery for Charities

On the 20th May, following the success of last year's event, we'll be hosting our next charity IT roundtable. We're bringing together the brightest IT professionals in the third sector for an afternoon of strategy, advice and best practice for charities and NGOs considering their first steps toward cloud. With particular focus on disaster recovery, we're investigating both the technology and the organisational challenges charities are facing in implementing reliable DR plans. Telecom and Cloud Futures

Finally, on the 22nd of May, we'll be joining our partners Total Ltd at Gloucester Rugby Club for their Telecoms Futures – The Cloud and Next Generation Networks event. The free seminar will focus on how embracing changes and developments to technology, network infrastructure and connectivity can change the way we work. Our MD, Peter Groucutt, will be giving a presentation on our experiences within the backup and disaster recovery market. He'll be covering everything from new technologies, to how the market is changing and why more businesses are now making the move to managed cloud-based services to safeguard one of their most important assets.
