Disasters aren't considerate – they don't just rear their ugly head between the hours of 9am and 5pm, and leave you to sleep easy each night. They are unpredictable and chaotic, and they can strike at any time. Which is why we're available for our customers 24/7 so they've got the peace of mind that no matter when disaster hits, we'll be there to help.

We've had incidents where one of our technicians has driven through the night to rebuild a customer's servers before their employees arrived in the office the next working day. For us there isn't really such a thing as "above and beyond" - your systems are either supporting your business, or they aren't, in which case we'll work tirelessly until they are again (even if it means sleeping on the cold, hard floor of a data centre for a night!).

It's this ethos, always putting our customers first, that has led to our numerous industry award wins. Just last week, we won The SVC Industry Award at the 2015 Storage, Virtualisation & Cloud Awards for our work within the industry this year. Now, we by no means judge our success solely on the amount of awards in our trophy cabinet, but awards are important to us because it means we're achieving what we set out to do: deliver the best cloud services in the UK. It's the success stories behind the awards that matter the most, because it generally means a customer has enough confidence in us to nominate or endorse us.

Cloud services are a competitive business to be in – there are so many strong contenders doing really great things for the industry right now. To be recognised for industry awards is a testament that our hard work is paying off.
