Come and see us at Cloud Expo Europe

At the end of the month, we'll be exhibiting alongside 150 other cloud experts at the ExCeL exhibition centre in London, for Cloud Expo Europe. The event, held on the 26th and 27th of February, is Europe's biggest and best-attended cloud conference, expecting to see over 7000 visitors walk through its doors.

We've got some exciting things lined up over the course of the 2 days. Firstly, we'll be showcasing our cloud animation, "Changes to Computer Thinking" narrated by household genius Stephen Fry. The 5 minute video takes us on a guided tour of the last 4700 years of technology, from the Ancient Sumerians, to the first power station, all the way to cloud computing. Stop by stand 1010 and see how many landmark moments and famous faces you can spot. You can also pick up a free poster print of the timeline while you're there.

Play our game and see how many 'lightbulb moments' you can switch on against the clock for a chance to win the top prize of a Jawbone JamBox Wireless Speaker. We've hidden a series of lightbulbs throughout our technology timeline – get yourself in a top 5 position on the leaderboard for the chance to choose from a special selection of high-tech prizes at the end of the show.

We're also getting involved in the many conference sessions taking place throughout the event.

On Wednesday, at 11:15 in the Cloud Innovations and Showcase Theatre, our solutions architect Mark Thomas will be taking to the stage with SolidFire's VP of International, Tim Pitcher. The pair will be moving from theory to practice with real-life demonstrations of how to maintain consistent performance in the cloud, regardless of the actions of other tenants on the same cloud platform.
