Databarracks provides tips for scalable web applications at AWS Enterprise Summit
Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and AWS (Amazon Web Services) consulting partner, Databarracks, has confirmed its attendance at the AWS Enterprise Summit 2013, on Tuesday 17th September at the Grange St. Paul's Hotel, in London.
The one-day event is expected to attract over 1,000 senior technical leaders from enterprise organisations. During the course of the event attendees will have the opportunity to learn how companies are using AWS to experiment, innovate and grow their businesses while reducing costs.
Databarracks has been an AWS partner since May 2012 and provides Design & Build and Manage & Support services to help businesses make the best use of the AWS cloud. In doing so, Databarracks is able to help customers set up, test and configure their IT systems, and ensure that they are taking full advantage of the technology. Once operational, it is then able to manage and support the application, website or even full IT infrastructure in the AWS cloud.
Peter Groucutt, managing director of Databarracks commented: "Our presence at the AWS Enterprise Summit is a fantastic opportunity to meet with businesses keen to explore and refine their cloud strategy.
"AWS is the market leader in scalable cloud computing, with the most developed feature-set.
"As an AWS Consulting Partner, we are able to provide our customers with the expertise to take advantage of the economies of scale offered by AWS' vast cloud infrastructure. Our engineers have produced an e-book outlining the 9 fundamental tips for creating scalable web applications with AWS and we'll be on hand all day to share our ideas and give advice based on real experience."
The Enterprise Summit will be divided into two sessions; with the morning session featuring keynote speeches from Andy Jassy, Senior Vice President, Amazon Web Services and Amazon Infrastructure, and Stephen Schmidt, Chief Information Security Officer of AWS, who will offer insight into how enterprise customers are using AWS. The afternoon will be primarily customer-orientated, with speakers from UK enterprises such as BP, Channel 4 and News International sharing their AWS experiences.
