We’re a Niche Player in Gartner’s 2015 Magic Quadrant for Disaster Recovery as a Service
We are absolutely thrilled to announce that we have been recognised in Gartner's 2015 Magic Quadrant for Disaster Recovery as a Service. We were positioned furthest along the "Completeness of Vision" axis in the Niche Players quadrant.
For us, to be recognised alongside such esteemed competition is a testament to what we have achieved in our 10 years as a service provider. Those of you that have been with us from the start will know that we started out just over 10 years ago as the UK's first true managed online backup provider. We took our experience with backup to evolve into disaster recovery.
We were early to the cloud DR market and coined the term Virtual Disaster Recovery. In the last two years there has been a surge in interest in cloud based DR. DRaaS is so significant because it allows our customers to reduce their costs and improve their recovery compared with traditional disaster recovery services.
We realised that our customers weren't happy paying for a secondary data centre purely for disaster recovery. By offering DRaaS, we can give them the flexibility of cloud computing combined with recovery experts they can rely on to get them up and running again in the event of a disaster.
Being able to add value to our customers' organisations is what we're all about. No matter how quickly we've grown, we've always kept that ethos at our core. Though we're a relatively small organisation, to be included in the Magic Quadrant is proof that you can provide world-class services without detracting from a high-quality personal service.
